The Auditor- General shall not hold any other office of profit in the service of Pakistan or occupy any other position carrying the right to remuneration for the rendering of services.
  Privileges of the Head of SAI:	Salary 20% higher than the maximum salary payable to a Secretary to the Government of Pakistan. Entitled to all such benefits including entitlement pertaining to travel, as are admissible to a Minister of State.
  Mandate of the SAI:	As defined by Article 169 to 171 of the Constitution and Ordinance No.XXIII of 2001
  Forum to which audit reports of the SAI are submitted:	Reports relating to the accounts of the Federation are submitted to the President of Pakistan while Reports relating to the accounts of the Provinces are submitted to Governor of the respective Province, who causes them to be laid before the National or the Provincial Assembly, as the case may be.
